DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?
A : I currently do not charge travel fees to any state in the United States. To accomodate my stay and flight, I use part of my profit. This is because I have a goal of shooting in all 50 states! Currently (2023) I have worked in 24!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM YOU AS MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
I am available via text, email, or phone at anytime throughout your wedding planning experience! Around 2 weeks before the big day, I will send out a day of detail email and create a timeline/day of schedule! I am also available for consultation for my out of state clients via facetime or zoom!
I'M READY TO BOOK! WHAT'S NEXT?
In order to hold your date, I require 30% of the total package as a retainer. After your retainer is paid, questionnaire is filled out, and contract is signed, your remaining balance can either be paid in full 30 days prior to your wedding, or I can customize a payment plan for you!
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I shoot with a Sony A7iii for both photo and video. It is a dual slot camera that I use for extra preventative measures. My go to lenses are a 28-70mm 2.8 and my 135mm 2.8. I use Godox for flash.
WHAT KIND OF VIDEOGRAPHY DO YOU INCLUDE WITH YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES/ARE YOU A TEAM OR AN INDIVIDUAL?
I include a highlight recap of your big day as a $500.00 add on for all of my packages! This includes vow audio overlay and DMCA free music. Recap videos range anywhere from 4-8 minutes long depending on the events and timeline of the wedding. I shoot video and photo solo. I have been doing combination packages now for a year on my own.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A BRIDE TO HELP THE DAY GO SMOOTHER?
- I highly recommend hiring a day of coordinator to help keep your day on timeline and flowing without you having to stress about any of it. If a coordinator is not in your budget, I would recommend appointing a trusted friend or family member to help with the day of details!
-If you are planning a special exit at the end of your reception, I recommend doing a mock exit instead. A mock exit is set up the same way that a regular exit would be, except it is done earlier during the reception, and instead of leaving, you would come back inside and continue the party! I recommend mock exits because it is very common for wedding guests to leave early and exits with more people photograph best!
- A week before your wedding, I recommend putting important things that signify the day into a box to keep them together. For example, shoes, perfumes, invitations, rings, bouquets, etc. I use these for flat lay photos of all of your important details and you won't have to stress about keeping up with it on the big day!
-Two weeks before the big day, sit down with your fiancé. Look over your guest list and create a list of all of the important shots you want from your day! This will save time during the cocktail hour when family photos are being taken.
- Don't ever hesitate to send pictures and videos you see online that you'd like to recreate! I love seeing other cool ideas and I'm up for anything when it comes to making you happy!
-Enjoy your day! Weddings fly by, and things may happen that we don't expect, but no one will even notice! Almost every wedding runs over time in some way or another, and it's okay! They won't start without you!
